A child is born Mindful. When hungry a baby knows from where he will get his food from. At the age of 3 or 4, children start to pay attention to things around them. The things, sounds, colours etc. They start noticing every element around them. One is even aware of the things he or she is good at but then as we grow, we start following a more mundane and auto - tuned version on ourselves and that's where we go wrong. We need to start practising Mindfulness and Character Strengthening as early as possible and should continue doing so forever. Mindfulness has the ability to empower you to work on strengths to build a strong character. Both the practices compliment each other to help You to discover the best in you.
Strengths such as strengths-spotting, developing signature strengths, and targeting specific strengths are supported by the open and accepting nature of mindfulness approach. At the same time, individuals can become more engaged and adept at mindful living practices such as mindfulness in relationships, mindful listening, mindful eating, and mindful walking by deploying their strengths.
